Mario Gonzales represents the Port of Long Beach at  various meetings  and provides   overview presentations to community groups, students and residents. In addition, he plans and coordinates community meetings, press events, public hearings and oversees the Internship Program for Community Relations. Mario serves as the Port liaison to Poly High School’s Pacific Rim Academy Advisory Board and the Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Network. He is a graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science and a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Administration.
